Step by step claim guideYes, if your circumstances change and you wish to amend your policy for example to include a new laptop, bicycle, or some jewellery, then simply call us on 0845 330 1598. Lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday.
Please note that your home insurance premium may change and you may have to pay your insurer an additional premium (inclusive of insurance premium tax) and we may make an administration charge independently of any charge imposed by the insurer.
Please see our 'Terms of Business Agreement' document for details on our charges. You will need to pay any charges due, and accept any terms and conditions changes, prior to any changes being made to your policy.
If you are moving house you'll need to contact us on 0845 330 1598 before your move so that we can arrange for cover to be transferred to your new property. Moving house could increase or decrease the amount you have to pay, as postcode, number of bedrooms and type of property all affect the cost of insurance.
Important
With contents cover, if your contents are packed and carried by a professional removal contractor, the insurer will insure you against loss or damage to the contents while they are being loaded, unloaded and moved anywhere in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man, between your old and new addresses.
With buildings cover, If you have exchanged contracts to sell your home, the insurer will continue to provide cover until the sale goes through as long as; this period is not more than 60 days from the date of exchanging contracts (or in Scotland, the date of “conclusion of missives”) and you have already insured your new home under this policy.

If are cancelling within the 14 day 'cooling off' period, your insurer may make a proportionate charge for the time your insurance has been in force and we will retain a charge up to £52 for the set up of the policy.
If you wish to cancel your home insurance policy after this 14 day cooling of period, then your insurer may make a proportionate charge for the time your insurance has been in force and we will apply a non-refundable fee to recover commission lost by the policy cancellation.
The cost of any add-on products (for example, Legal Expenses) you may have purchased will be non-refundable after the cooling off period.
As long as you have not made any home insurance claims, any other money you may have paid us will then be refunded.
