Motor Protection Plan Plus - £30.00
What is Motor Protection Plan Plus?
The Cover Direct Motor Protection Plan Plus has been developed to provide you with additional legal protection. Motor Protection Plan Plus is a low-cost insurance policy which safeguards you against the effects of
uninsured losses as a result of an accident that wasn't your fault.
Why do I need this extra insurance?
Unfortunately, your current car insurance policy may not cover you for some additional losses you could incur,
such as policy excess or medical expenses (even if the accident is not your own fault).
Who is the insurer?
The policy is underwritten by
Allianz Insurance plc, one of the leading UK legal expenses providers.
What help do I get?
Help is at hand from Allianz Insurance plc who have a team of experienced claims specialists to help seek compensation for these losses.
It is your legal right to pursue compensation from the guilty party and, with legal expenses insurance up to £75,000 per claim,
you can do this without being out of pocket.
What costs may be pursued?
- Personal injury to the insured
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Loss of earnings
- Medical expenses
- Policy excess under comprehensive insurance
What else does it cover me for?
Motor Protection Plan Plus includes a number of benefits in addition to uninsured loss recovery:
- Replacement car facility - Where the accident was clearly not your fault and you have full third party details, Motor Protection Plan Plus can often provide
a replacement vehicle.
- Credit repair - With third party insurance, if you have an accident that is not your fault, Motor Protection Plan Plus can arrange for repairs
to be done to your vehicle immediately, at no cost to yourself. This means you don't have to wait until the other driver's insurance has been sorted
out before your own vehicle is repaired.
- If your car is immobilised immediately following a motor accident within the UK, Motor Protection Plan Plus will supply, subject to availability,
a replacement vehicle for the period of up to 72 hours. This is providing the hire period commences within two working days of the date of the accident.
